STREET TALES

As a street photographer, I am drawn to people and the places they inhabit. The streets become stages where small dramas are played out in a split second. My fascination with how humans interact with space allows me to imagine I am a director, seeking to capture cinematic and emotional moments.

I am a watcher and reactor. I first look for light and then wait for life to play out. The results are small novellas, short stories that are a moment in time without a beginning or ending. I think and see graphically, seeking visual structure to my images. I tend to simplify the frame and leave the opportunity for emotion and magic to fill in the spaces.
